The Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojna Scholarship is a special scheme started by the Government of Odisha to support ST (Scheduled Tribe) students. Under this scheme, students get a one-time financial help of Rs. 5000. This money is given after a student finishes Class 8 or Class 10 and takes admission in Class 9 or Class 12. The purpose of this scheme is to reduce the financial burden on families and encourage children to continue their studies without dropping out. Many students face money problems when they move to a higher class, so this scheme helps them buy basic things like books, uniforms, school bags, and other study materials.

Through this scheme, the government wants to motivate ST students to stay in school, complete their education, and build a better future. It is a small but important support that can make a big difference for students who need financial assistance.
