The Kerala government has announced a new scholarship program called Connect to Work Scholarship, this scholarship is mainly designed for young men and women between the age group of 18 to 30 years who are seeking jobs as they prepare for their careers. In this programme the unemployed youth from families with an annual income below ₹1 lakh will get financial help of monthly ₹1000 for up to one year, so they can continue their training or prepare for competitive exams without financial strain. The main objective of the Kerala Connect to Work Scholarship is to provide youngsters a chance to prepare for their careers without much financial strain.
