The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has launched the “AKTU B.Tech Scholarship” to support economically backward categories students. Under this scholarship the government offers financial assistance to cover educational expenses of under graduate students. The government provides a scholarship to those students who belong to general/OBC/Minority/SC/ST with a family annual income less than 2.5 lakh per annum. The student who have completed their 12th standard and want pursue B.Tech from Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical university are eligible to avail the benefits of this scholarship. Objective of AKTU B.Tech Scholarship
The main objective of AKTU B.Tech Scholarship is to support General/ OBC/SC/ST and Minority students to complete their educational expenses without any financial trouble. The scholarship is aim to provide financial support and fee reimbursement to those students who want to pursue B.Tech from a specified institute. If you are a student and a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh who is interested in applying for this scholarship before the deadline that is 25 December 2025. There are two groups under which categories divided the one is of SC/ST and other is OBC/General.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be enrolled in BTech courses in an AKTU-affiliated college or institution.
- Candidate must have completed your Class 12th examination
- Candidate must belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or general category
- Candidate must have an annual income of less than INR 2 lakh if you belong to OBC and general, and INR 2.5 lakh if you belong to SC and ST.
- Candidate must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Student must have to maintain a satisfactory academic record and regular attendance to receive the scholarship.
