Uttar Pradesh Government has announced National-Means-Cum-Merit-Scholarship (NMMS) for the Uttar Pradesh district students who facing financial difficulties in pursuing their education. Under NMMS Scholarship, the government will provide Rs.1000 per month or Rs.12000 annually to those students who belong to economically weaker families or underprivileged students. To eligible for this scholarship the students must be meritorious and clear the exam to avail the benefit. The financial assistance will help to empower the student to continue their education from class 9th to 12th without any financial trouble. The student must be study in government school, government aided school or local parishad school in district. Objective of NMMS Scholarship for Uttar Pradesh Students 2026
The main objective of NMMS Scholarship is to provide financial aid to Uttra Pradesh students from underprivileged families. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship you have to fulfill criteria given below:
- Applicant enrolled in class 8th with minimum 55% of percentage in last year result.
- Applicants should not be from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, and residential schools, not eligible.
- Applicants who passed their class 9th and 10th they have score minimum 60% of percentage.
- Applicants belong to OBC/SC/ST they get 5% marks relaxation.
- The annual income of parent not more than 3.5 lakh per annum.
