- Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships: These fellowships are intended for Indian academics who have just finished or are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program. They offer access to cutting-edge resources and collaborations during a six- to twelve-month research tenure at a U.S. school.
- Excellence in Education and the Workplace Fellowships: These allow Indian professionals, researchers, and teachers to spend four to nine months teaching, researching, or doing both at a U.S. university.
- International Education Administrators Award: A short-term grant known as the International Education Administrators Award allows administrators of higher education to tour American campuses and learn about the country’s educational system.
Eligibility Criteria for Fulbright Scholarship
For Master’s Scholarship: Candidates need to acquire a Bachelor’s degree from an Indian institute which should be equivalent to the U.S. bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks.
For Doctoral Scholarship: candidate must enroll in PhD Course and must do proper research in their research field.
For Academic and Professional Excellence: Candidates must have a PhD degree with at least 5 years of work experience in the field of research, teaching, and professional. If any of the fellows are engaged in other work-related activities, they have to stick carefully to the instructions given to them. The application must be submitted by the employer with a note indicating the fellowship leave.
For Postdoctoral Research Scholarship: The fellow who wants to apply for the Fulbright Nehru Postdoctoral Fellowship must have a degree of Ph.D. and M.D. Applicants need to submit their PhD and M.D. certificate\Degree on their application form in online mode.
