The application for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship scheme 2025-26 has been accepted by the Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR). This scholarship for the meritorious students who want to study abroad or in international universities, pursue the Under Graduation, Post Graduation, or doctor level courses from 131 Indian universities and institution under the scholarship program. The students willing to study internationally they can take beneifits of this scholarship scheme. The selected students will provide financial assistance up to 5 lakhs annually till the course not end. The UP Chief Minister also accepted this scholarship from UP every year 5 students will select from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme. Objective of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme
The main objective of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students who want to study in other countries that India has good diplomatic relation with. In addition to the fundamental credential mentioned in the application form, applicant must check eligibility requirement for the course they have selected and provide any necessary supporting evidence. Students that are chosen must have health insurance that covers at least Rs. 5 lakhs annually. By May 31, 2025, the ICCR will make the admissions decisions public. By June 15, 2025, offer letters will be sent to confirmed students by Indian Missions Abroad. Offers must be accepted by June 22, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme
- The candidates should speak English well.
- 18 to 40 years old for undergraduate and graduate courses, and no more than 50 years old for PhD programs as of July 1, 2025.
- According on their preferred order of study, the students will be able to apply to five different universities or institutions.
- To determine English competency, applicants must prepare a 500-word essay in English before being admitted.

Selection Process of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scholarship Scheme
- BE/B.Tech/BBA/BCA/BBA/ B.Sc, etc. (except Medical courses)
- Under the scholarship program, overseas students can study in 131 Indian universities and institutes for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees.
- Medical, paramedical, fashion, legal, and integrated studies such as B.A.-L.L.B. and B.Sc.-M.Sc. are not covered by the scholarship. Laboratory fees and other incidentals will be the responsibility of students enrolled in scientific courses.
