Overview of SERB POWER Fellowship
To help meritorious women from financial backgrounds and families the science and engineering research board has launched the science and engineering research board POWER fellowship. Under this scheme, the student will get research opportunities so that they can get a perfect job. Under this fellowship, the Student will be taught skills like leadership skill and basics skills. All the selected candidate for this scheme will be provided with 15,000 rupees as a monthly stipend. Along with that the candidate will also get a rupees 10,00,000 per annum for minor equipment manpower, consumables, contingences and domestic trouble. The selection under this scheme will be based on nomination by the head of institution and fellows of national academics.

Eligibility Criteria
- The age of the applicant must be above 35 years and less than 55 year.
- Highest qualification is phD degree in any branch of science and engineering
- The applicant must be an active scientist with an excellent record of research performance
- Applicant was not receiving any other fellowship from the government .
